It's never too late to fall off a surfboard
Are you 60+ years young and reckon you could be Australia's next best-worst surfer? Put your hand up (or nominate someone) to learn to surf in Bondi and compete in the 3rd annual Amateur Surf Classic.
What's up for grabs?
Four Golden Groms will be flown to Bondi Beach in Sydney to learn to surf and then compete, with their family or friends in tow. 

Winners each receive: 
Return Jetstar flights to Sydney for the nominated 60+ legend and a plus one
2 nights accommodation near Bondi Beach
Full rental kit-out – wetsuit, board, and the coaching to (maybe) stand up
Hang out with surfing legend Occy
A hot choccy (if they want, they're pretty yum after a day on the waves)
The Grand Prix
One overall winner from the day scores the ultimate prize: a trip for you and 5 people to Sri Lanka!

Who is competing?
Things you should know
Nominees must be 60+ years young
Nominees must be able to travel to Bondi on the 20th of August for an early start on the 21st.
Nominees do NOT need to be able to surf. In fact, we'd prefer they never have.
Nominees must be able to swim, do a push-up, and hold their own in cold water.
Nominees should be able to laugh at themselves as they learn a new skill, it's all just a bit of fun.
